Itri Papanikolla
Math/Science Lecturer
College of DuPage
I have a Liberal Arts and Science degree in Applied Mathematics from University of Illinois at Chicago. I have taught Mathematics and Science classes for ten years and want to continue my education at a higher level of Abstract Mathematics which gives me the ability to teach my favorite subject.
I am a Mathematics/Science lecturer at College of DuPage, and speak five languages, English, Albanian, Greek, Ancient Greek, and French.
I have a gold medal in Math Olympiad, and I am a member of the Golden Key International High IQ Society.
My interests include spending quality time with my wife, Nina and my two daughters, Juliana and Sofia, the study of history and economics, painting on canvas, aquarelle, music, and sports.
I want to create a new model of how students can observe mathematics and science.
In the summer of 2017, I was recognized by College of DuPage in their faculty spotlight page. It was a great honor for me and my entire family to receive such a great recognition by the department of Continuing Education.
My hopes are that my infinite passion for teaching will eventually lead my students to great success!
I wrote a book about high school Mathematics and its importance in adults and their every day life. It is a key to passing the GED. Please check it out!
